@applesweeter I suppose it can stand for whatever you want it to stand for! LOL! Although I imagine that U meant to ask can it WITHSTAND a nuke, & I would imagine that it should, since that was the point in building it. Of course surviving the initial blast, is the easy part. Its the radioactive months & years afterwards, where water and food from the surface will become poisoned. The underground city would need its own food/water sources & perhaps even air filtration systems, for above air.

So, I say we build this in America. . . . . Do it by hand just like they did. . . . . It would pretty much completely SOLVE the Labor Crisis. . . . ‘Are ya looking for work? Come work on the Underground City!!! Side benifits. . . it would ALSO solve the Homeless Problem!!! Plus U can rent out the space cheaply for underground factories. . . . . . Also no need for air-conditioning or heat, that far below the surface. And if ya dig some Really Deep Tunnels. . . U can create some GEO-THERMAL Engines 2 Power the whole place!

  3. 还有这等事。。。

  5. Wow! 8o I’ve gotta see that sometime.

  6. Can you stand the attack of an atomic war head?? Built in hand. I do not think so.

  7. for those of you who doubt the existence of deep underground cities in the US i need you to understand one fact, this enormous complex in China was done BY HAND.

just imagine the kind of structure the US have underground 0o

  8. Amazing i never knew this

  9. Of course its dark, cold and spooky. Its a nuclear shelter complex.

    Fallout.

  10. The bunker complex is really big, it’s just a small part of it. It’s like a city souterraine.J I found a video of the full-size tanks and trucks running inside instead go at 6:08 timestamp: see? v = 2O5rtMZjVDI

  16. heh, same here.

  17. I’ve seen old pictures of this place, they used to carry out military trucks and tanks through the tunnels. They had a ventilation system to suck the exhaust.

  18. Theoretically, it can be. China’s Great Wall is 50,000km long whilst the underground city covers 850 km2. So, if there are more than 59 full length tunnels in the underground city it will surpass the length of the Great Wall.

  19. ive been here last year in 2007 & im malay. this place so damn dark, cold & spooky. .
they say this place belong to the chinese military

  20. over the Great Wall? I do not think

  21. lol

  22. oh ,even i’m a chinese ,i didn’t know this place.
