Blue 2 was a promotional travel video (in Italian) featuring 4 pro kiteboarders, CESARE CANTAGALLI, CARLO TAROZZI, RENZIO MANCINI and ALESSANDRO SPANO promoting Malaysia as a kitesurf travel destination. The video was made in 2003. And it was sponsored by Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia Airlines, Pahang State, KiteLoose, Wipika, Maui Magic, Op, Bear, Rietveld, Reef, Drops, Challenger Kites and Synergy Tours. It contains segments featuring Malaysia’s diverse culture, people, fauna and flora. The kiteboarders travelled through the east coast of Malaysia, mainly in Kuantan. One of the most featured spot was Balok Beach. Balok Beach is one of the top 10 spots for windsurfing during the Northeast monsoon season. The annual Monsoon Madness windsurf/kitesurf competition is also held there.
