We’re back with our How-To World Tour after a brief retro layover. Ever wonder how to get around those expensive public toilets? Hint: McDonald’s is a world-wide chain. That’s right, this week, Madeline is sharing the travel tips she’s learned that can make life abroad less expensive, safer, and more comfortable. We’ve also spooled up various shaky video clips from our trips abroad, just to add a little color… and motion sickness!

  15. actually the local McDonalds is not always free (3:58) I think I was at a McDonalds in London and there was a revolving gate with a pay per entrance fee

    A great site to find really good hostels is hostelworld (. com). They have great reviews on hostels all over the world. Money belts are essential for travelling but there are many other items that must be taken that are not mentioned here. Visit the globaltravelpack (. com) website for great travel info!!

    I do agree, maybe more pictures or visuals. . something to cut down on the hand motions.

    and more insider things. In this day and age, the fact of bringing a money pouch etc is pretty common knowledge. I like it when a traveller, such as yourself, has some realllll insider stories, experiences and the lot to share that are helpful.
