I’m still deciding what culinary school (s) are best for me and has the highest level of education?
I recently visited my sister in Atlanta, GA, and I’ve had an interest in a career in your kitchen for a while. So while I was there, I’m interested and a tour of the Institute of Culinary Arts and Le Cordon Bleu for a location. I must say that I prefer Le Cordon Bleu, because they are 100% dedicated to culinary art fair, but the grapevine tells me that the CIA is the best, even in the most expensive school? I want to be a great leader and a head / day own my own restaurant and I’m looking for the best rate and rewarding. I am currently residing in Rochester, NY, located north of New York anyway, so I would go to school, but I make the best choice here, before I do such an important decision to move and so on. Any suggestions, my advice so far has been asking people in the area.

The New England Culinary Institute is the best by far. It is in Montpelier,Vt and is great. They can be a bit expensive but well worth it. Check them out if you haven’t already. http://www. neci. edu/
If you are looking for a smaller culinary school, I would take a look at Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, CO. CSR’s culinary programs are designed to make efficient use of your time and resources. Our small classes (typically not more than 16 students) enable one to learn better, faster and smarter. Culinary School of the Rockies’ carefully planned, well-balanced curriculum gives you the foundation you need to build or advance your career. Our short intensive culinary courses (maximum 6 months) give you solid training and get you into the workplace quickly. You can learn more about the school and their new Culinary Arts Farm-To-Table program at www. culinaryschoolrockies. com
