Leh Festivals: The Ladakh Festival takes place in the beginning of September. It is inaugurates in Leh with a fabulous parade all around the lanes. Villagers are dressed in customary costumes dance and sing folk songs along with live orchestra. The festival also stages musical shows, dances carried out by masked lamas from chosen monasteries, and mock customary wedding ceremonies.
