Tulum
Tulum is 80 miles from Cancun in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. The last city built by the Maya civilization was built on the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The city prosper mainly from the 15th the 16th century. It was originally called Zama, meaning “dawn” and is linked to its location, which is on the far side of the eastern Yucatan peninsula, at sunrise. “The beauty and majesty of the Maya city with the Caribbean background was impressive.
