Proof of vaccination against yellow fever is required if you are traveling from an infected area (as most of sub-Saharan Africa). Travel is certainly a good value and visits to oases of the Sahara or the top of Mount Sinai is also reasonable. diving centers in the Red Sea coast are numerous and the competition is hot, prices are still low. Sites – The Pyramids of Giza is a fantastic sight, and many people see shortly. Yes, it is overrun with tourists here, but you can blame them? Abu Simbel is like an epicenter of ancient Egyptian monuments and treasures and although you may have read about kidnappings and attacks in the region, it is not as bad as the western media likes to differentiate, but is best to check with local tourist office, either in Cairo or Aswan. The Red Sea has had some great dive sites, and as mentioned earlier, they are readily available and inexpensive. The stations are nearby, Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada are cosmopolitan places with visitors from around the world. Bombings that took place in recent years is unfortunate, but people have the will to overcome these ruthless acts of destruction. The oases of the Sahara is an ideal place to escape the mob of cities and resorts. Siwa Oasis near the Libyan border is a popular trip, as it almost Farafra, the White Desert. Both are relatively easy to reach and make travel in sandbank. People often forget Egypt Islamic history and old, and some of the best bazaars in the region, Cairo is particularly attractive. One of the cities most buzz in the world, Cairo has great museums and galleries, but nails should just go through the medieval streets with Hawkers and children!
